Colorado gets a new Congressional District

It's official.  Colorado voters will be represented by eight members of Congress.  The first general election in which Colorado voters can select their Congressional members is in November, 2022.  Those members will be sworn-in in January, 2023.  A Commission made up of Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated citizens are charged with drawing the boundaries of the future congressional districts.

Colorado will now receive one more electoral vote in Presidential elections, moving from 9 to 10,, which changes the electoral path to victory.
